Ok, so I saw reviews for this months Birchbox and people were complaining about getting 2 tanning sheets and toothpaste.

Well, I didn't (not to sound rude, but I was excited that I didn't get tanning things because you know how I feel about that). I got AWESOME things. That is because when you sign up for Birchbox you are asked to take a survey of your beauty problems/interests.  I checked things like I was not interested in teeth products or tanning things..as far as I can remember. 

There was also a question if you would be okay with receiving packet samples and I checked no.

So, obviously it all depends on the person and what they got. 

Birchbox has been great to me so far.

But if I got stuck with things I felt I could have gotten for free else where or things I wasn't interested in I would be upset too. In todays economy, $10.00 is a LOT OF MONEY. 

I am not cheap by any means..but I am no fool either.

A girl I work with came back from a leave of absence today and she was rocking the "bump", real hard.

I though she must have been harbinating for the past 2 years and not realized that the "bump", is so damn out.

PS: Sorry, for the lack of posts. I know I usually try to come up with something significant at least 2-3 times a week. But this might be a slow week. I had the worst day today, filled with pointless tears and stress. I don't know what's wrong with me. I might loose my lid at any moment. Anyway, I want to post a Spring Haul but I am still waiting for a few things to get here & apparently I forgot to cancel my Birchbox so I guess I will be getting one those, too. I've heard they suck this month.

I've been dancing to this all day!!! SPRING BREAK STARTS TODAY!!!!!!!!!!! YAY ...not...since I'll be WORKING :( .... and doing volunteer work.... because I love doing that.. :) But, anyways...anyone going to Mexico or other sunny places for the break? If you are, don't tell me... I will be jealous...ahhhhh only a few months until Europe for me though!!!!1 AHHH I am so excited.. I cannot wait... if tomorrow June was here I'd have a heart attack from pure excitement!!!

Avoid fake tanning because...

You can end up looking dirty....in the nasty no one-wants-to-touch-you-way.

You can miss spots from head...

to toe..

Fake tanning products can be expensive and you will have to end up purchasing them many times to keep your "tan". 

These also contain harsh chemicals that can and will damage your skin over time! 

Why drench your body in chemicals? That's disgusting!

Tanning beds are dangerous. You can get skin cancer.. God forbid..all for a tan. 

Why risk it? Only a fool would. 

Stay away, please.

The best way to get a tan is to go out in the sun with SPF on. 

You can still get a tan. I have always put on SPF before going out tanning and I get the most natural and beautiful tan and you can, too. Please don't do these harmful things to your skin.

What the women are like at work...

Catty. That is what they are like. 
Plain catty.


I have NEVER in my life met such...bitches. I hate to be so blunt..but honestly there is NO other way to explain. 
I mean..really. 


I hit the sales floor last week to get an overview of what the sales are like..etc. I was greeted by middle aged women with smiles so fake they made Pamela Anderson's tits look natural. 


I was insulted. They looked me up and down, judging me by what I was wearing, how my make up was done...etc. I am not blind..or death.. I can hear you judging me inside your head, it was that obvious.


I was dressed more professionally then they were, although I was missing 2-3 pounds of the extra make up they were wearing. 


Not to mention some girls had caked on their make up so bad you could see it a mile away.


But it isn't about what they wearing..it was about how they behaved. Here I am... the newbie.. and I got the scoop of what really goes down within minutes..


I went around introducing myself and asking questions (due to my work) etc... and here is what the conversation went like with bitch #1:


ME: "Hello, I am "M", I am new and I will be working with you for the next few months."
Bitch # 1: "Oh..okay."
ME: "I am sorry, I didn't catch your name..?"
Bitch # 1: ...........


(Stares at me.....)




CREEPY!


ME: "Well, okay it was nice to meet you."


Walked away.


...uhh...wtf?


Other things I heard:


Bitch # 2: "So and So is a bitch, she never does anything right."
Bitch # 3 to Bitch # 4: "Just forget it, you don't know anything, you piss me off."
Bitch # 5 to # 6: "You are dressed like a whore.. "
Bitch # 6: "You smell like shit."


The amount of gossip that goes around is absolutely ridiculous.. not only about each other, but the company, the clients. 


One client complained about a sales person and people laughed and talked about it behind her back.


I am so shocked. I almost don't want to go back. 


Wearing 4 inches heels all day running around all day...


my feet are killing meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!




Oh, update about the person who lied to me about something important to me: turns out it was just an misunderstanding...we're okay. I guess. We'll see. Oh, love.... you bitch.

Innhits: Eyeliner...

Thick eyeliner is out.

But not for night time looks or smokey eyes. 

Keep the eyeliner minimal throughout the day and if you have been wearing eyeliner religiously like I have and cannot quit the habit,  line lightly. 

What I've been loving lately is using a cream eyeliner and an eyeliner brush with thin slanted edges (the one from ecotools is ideal) and lining the outer porting of my eye lightly, but when coming to the center and inner conner using the thin edges very slightly. 

This will allow your eyes to look more open and bright...

Offtopic: Working in the Beauty Industry.. The Ugly.

To my new followers, Thank you. To the people who encouraged me to continue with the personal posts..Thank you. 

As you know I started a new work project this week. It is in the beauty industry, specifically the fragrance aspect of it. What I do is boring and complicated..but in general I boost sales and teach others how to maintain and exceed sales goals. Whatever, who cares. I used to work for a pharmaceutical company before I switched careers, doing generally the same and I just have to...HAVE to let everyone know what it's really like from my point of view... 

It's not all butterflies and rainbows..no matter what industry you are in or what your job is..

Monday, was meetings. Boring...basics...you know the drill.. Company Policies... Don't discriminate... Here is the bathroom...

While I was sitting... waiting for this whole show to start... I overheard a meeting a man held, with all the supervisors of each dep. (makeup, face, fragrance, tools, etc) and the things he said to them made me laugh...on the inside only though. 

Note..

"Out of all the locations I have visited...you are the best...and the biggest..and blah blah"

The women cheered...idiotically. 

Why I think this is funny.... because it's not true... this particular location is small compared to the others.. the city population is less compared to the capital where there are triple the stores..and the numbers he was babbling out where considered average. 

There was NO way possible..that this location made more money than the location in the capital... if that were the case..why was I here?

I bet you anything he said that to all the other locations he was at...full of bullshit..just a talk he goes around giving to keep everyone encouraged or feel "special"... 

You should have seen him talk... I thought he was joking. 

Now the women....oh God, the women. 

You would think! THINK because they are working in the beauty industry they would know that when you pass 60, blue eyeshadow, a short skirt and leggings and bright pink lips is not attractive. 

The women there are all done up. No matter if they are on the sales floor or behind the scene. The smokey eye is happening at 7 o'clock in the morning..with color that is.  

Dare they say they bought a beauty related product from another store..everyone hushes them as if their life depended on it.

I cannot stand them. When you are in your 40's you cannot dress and act like a 16 year old. Especially not at work.

Now, meet the office pervert. The balding man...who wears cheap suits but pretends they are expensive. The one who brags about cash in his pocket and the man who loves to be in a room filled with women slightly better looking than his wife..at least then he knows he has some sort of chance. 

I met the office pervert today... he was part of a traveling sales team...it was him and 7 other women. Wow. 

What wife is so confident in herself she lets her flirtatious husband travel with 7 women all around the U.S for lengths unknown? Sleep in the same hotels..only foot steps away from each of their doors?

While my co-worker left to get something the conference room became empty...except me, the pervert, and a lonely looking woman with glasses. I had my head phones on, listening to a demonstration..all part of their company policy..blah ....the volume went off...and I heard him flirting with her... asking if he can sit next to her and shared his meal with her...

Then when he left and the other clan walked in, they began gossiping about what a pervert he is ..and how they didn't like him... 

And I thought to myself...? Where the **** am I? 

..now the C.E.O of this company looks like the stereotypical man who rents a hotel room by the hour with a high priced hooker. 

I might be judgmental..and you may think I am wrong. But I have been in this business long enough to know when I see a greedy dirt bag he usually is a greedy dirt bag...

I am embarrassed to work for this company..they are so full of it.. talking about "We love all our associates, employees.. you are important to us.." yet...if you are not high ranking your office will look like a prison with a desk..and the training rooms consists of technology and chairs and desks from the 90's... yet the C.E.O spends his money like it's nothing..most likely on hookers.

I am sorry. I had to vent. I hope someday people read this and realize that working for a company such as this is degrading ...and there is nothing "beautiful" about it.
